IT Backbone was established in 2008 by Jason Chaplin, and we’re proud to be one of the most trusted and respected names in IT support and managed IT services, delivering technical expertise to a huge range of companies.

IT Backbone has grown to deliver industry leading services and solutions throughout the UK, to an expansive range of businesses, from small start-ups to multi-site organisations across multiple diverse sectors. We have invested heavily in our infrastructure and our staff development, to ensure that we can provide leading technologies and support them in line with modern ways of working, which have been undeniably transformed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jason Chaplin

Jason is our MD and Founder, who established IT Backbone in 2008. Jason’s an expert at putting himself in the customer’s shoes, and has a passion for delivering outstanding CX. Jason lives and breathes technology and is always happy to test out the latest Apple products, as well as innovative platforms and services.

Tony Morrant

Tony is IT Backbone’s Technical Services Director and leads our technical delivery teams. He’s got tonnes of technical experience and Tony heads up the strategic development and delivery of IT Backbone’s technical services. Tony also ensures that our technical strategy and day to day operations run seamlessly.

Our clients are at the heart of everything we do, so we’ll always make a bespoke recommendation to each and every one. When clients contact our service desk, they always talk directly with a technical expert (they’re all in the UK), which means that you won’t need to repeat the issue to a number of different people. Our engineers also maintain an outstanding knowledge base, which enables us to solve any issues quickly and easily.
